Hey guys, I'm happy to document another illustration project for SWD (Stadtwerke Düsseldorf) that I finished a while ago...
Its about a campaign that communicates the complete switch to green energy of SWD. My task was to illustrate the three main green energy sources: water, sun and wind in an abstract way that frames the punchlines of the campaign. Next to the my still vignette illustrations I needed to deliver motion versions to be placed via animated citylights. Big thanks to Christian Reichelt and his team at ORCA CAMPAIGN for trust and easy going. "Wir-sind-bund.de" (We Are Diverse) is the URL of a german website, belonging to the federal goverment, informing about the variety of jobs they offer in the federal administration and the diversity of people they look for. In german bun"t" spelled with a "t" means colorfullwhile Bun"d" spelled with a "d" derives from the "Bundesverwaltung", which means "federal administration". I had to develop 22 Characters that show the variety of possible employers without creating Stereotypes which was the crucial part :D. Next to that the characters had to pass a lot of peoples feedback, different gremiums of officials and in the last round finally the German Kanzleramt itself.  Related to the PainTheWallFestival the Willi&Söhne Popupgallery opened at Sterncenter in Lüdenscheidt. You can grab nice arteditions of Akut, Lowbros, Wert.trd.nsis.puf.vmd, Martin Bender, FuchsundRabe and myself. Opening times are wednesdays: 10–14:00; fridays 15–18:00 and saturdays 14:00–18:00. Sterncenter is located in the heart of Lüdenscheids pedestrian zone.
