Big Thanks for the big feature of my work in the current docma magazine (#60) to MAXON and Uli Staiger. And especially thanks to Uli again for being patient with my lame responding during these busy days.
The mag focuses on digital image editing. I enjoyed the fresh tone the whole mag is carrying. Even my girlfriend had fun reading it without being involved into CGI at all (...Bad Pixel Award etc.). Definitely worth a buy!

Just received my sample copy of the "Beyond Graphics Book" published by CYPI Press (ISBN 10: 1908175311 / ISBN 13: 9781908175311). Big thanks to the author Youija Nie for sending from Bejing and featuring my work on 10 double sheets!
Love the selection of artists and content, definitely worth to add to your collection if you're into the melting of contemporary art and illustration.

If you're interested to read the stylewriting focus go to www.form.de and click "online lesen"...German only I'm afraid. The Focus is about how stylewriting influenced the nowadays job of illustrators, designers and artists...very diverse opinions and very interesting to read. But buying this mag is definitely worth it too guys.

Swanlake Illustration won bronze KTR-Award

A few weeks ago I was commissioned to illustrate Tchaikovskys Swanlake. Big thanks for your trust and artistic freedom to Kamil, Magda, Tomek and Tomasz. Nice to hear it won an KTR-Award finally.

Knotenpunkt// Hamburg

From October, Friday 11th till Sunday 13th 2013 the Knotenpunkt Festival takes place in Hamburg (Kolbenhof, Friedensalle 128, 22763 Hamburg). I'm cant be there personally, but some prints of mine are exhibited and ready for take away. Thanks to Lycien for taking care of my artwork!

Grand Prix Award at Spikes Media Awards/ Asia

Keys are hard to find is the message of the 3 illustrations I did for McCann Mumbai/ IN. Finally these won the Grand Prix Awards in the category "Design" at Spikes Awards in asia. Congrats and thanks to Denzil and the team over at McCann Mumbai.

May 23th// 20:00 Pictoplasma White Noise Exhibition is starting in museum Casa Encendida in Madrid/ Spain (Ronda de Valencia 2// 28012 Madrid// Spain). The exhition is open till September 8th//22:00.

"Pictoplasma – White Noise" presents current artistic strategies that make use of mechanisms similar to those of commercial mascots, logos and trademarks to engage in a critique of the markets they have originated from, or to create a detached fetishized cult, with abstract mascots at its centre.

Lecture @ TU-Kaiserslautern

On January 10th I'll be talking about the beginnings and motivation of streetart @ Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. The lecture is called: "Streetart- Art Or Trivial Culture?" and begins at 5:15pm. After that there will be a digital workshow of my work and time for discussion and some drinks. Proud to post that I won the gold- digital Content Award hosted by the government of Taiwan. I was invited to come to Taiwan, talk about my work and received the Gold Award and a Judge Award. Thanks To Ms. Chen, Karry, Charles, Jerry and the whole TIDCA organization team. I really enjoyed my week in Taipei (not only because of the warm weather//20 degrees) and look forward to see you again.
